This Privacy Policy explains how Publique (operated by Astatinn LTD) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, browser extension, and related services (the "Service").

This Policy applies to the Service. It does not apply to third-party sites or services you may access through links or integrations (including LinkedIn).

2) Information we collect

2.1 Account information

  • Name, email, authentication identifiers
  • Preferences (language, timezone, coaching style, notifications)

2.2 LinkedIn-related data (when you connect LinkedIn)

Depending on what you enable, we may process:

  • Public profile information (e.g., name, headline, profile picture)
  • Public posts and activity data
  • Content you draft, paste, or request feedback on
  • Connection-related information only if explicitly enabled/consented

You can disconnect LinkedIn at any time.

2.3 Usage and device data

We may collect:

  • Browser type/version, OS, device identifiers
  • IP address (or coarse location derived from it), timestamps
  • Feature usage, clicks, pages viewed, performance and error logs

2.4 Payments and subscription data

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive status and subscription metadata (e.g., plan, renewal dates, last four digits if provided by Stripe), but we do not store full card numbers.

2.5 Referral / affiliate data

If you use or share referral links, we may process:

  • Referral codes, link parameters, attribution events
  • Subscription outcomes tied to referrals
  • Anti-fraud signals (e.g., suspicious patterns, chargebacks)

2.6 Cookies and similar technologies

3) How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (including LinkedIn integration)
  • Personalize coaching, suggestions, and structured tasks
  • Process subscriptions and manage billing/entitlements
  • Monitor performance, prevent abuse/fraud, and secure the Service
  • Communicate with you (support, service messages, updates)
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

Where applicable, we rely on:

  • Contract (to provide the Service you request)
  • Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement)

We do not sell your personal information.

5.1 Processors / service providers

  • Stripe for payments and subscription management
  • Firebase for authentication, hosting-related services, and application infrastructure
  • Google Analytics for analytics and measurement (including advanced tracking if enabled)
  • OpenAI to generate AI coaching outputs from your inputs. Data sent to OpenAI's API is not used to train models by default, and abuse monitoring logs may be retained up to 30 days.

5.2 Legal, safety, and rights

We may disclose information if required by law or if necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

5.3 Business transfers

If we undergo a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6) International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our providers operate. We take steps intended to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

7) Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes (security, dispute resolution, compliance).

  • Account data: retained while your account is active; deleted or anonymized upon verified deletion request, subject to legal retention needs.
  • Subscription records: retained for tax/accounting as required.
  • AI processing: provider retention depends on configuration and endpoint behavior; OpenAI's API abuse-monitoring logs may be retained up to 30 days by default.

8) Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit). No system is 100% secure.

9) Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal data
